Two banged up teams

Gonna be competitive

No Barkov, no Matthew, no cheating bastard Ekblad. This is a winnable game.

Please no more injuries. If they dress Brady, I hope he is fully recovered. Otherwise, the same lineup that beat Tampa has a chance. But they would need to find a way to get dirty goals, especially in the powerplay which needs to generate offence.

Picking Zetterlund to finally breakout and score in this game. Ullmark needs to maintain his strong netminding. Keep Greig-Pinto-Amadio as a trio/line 2B.

Go Sens GO!

Add stay out of the penalty box! That would be a major contributor to increasing our probability of winning.

Would be cheeky to suggest not getting any PPs too.

Please win us. We want Toronto :)
I know we haven’t made the playoffs in a while but did everyone forget the bad juju from during stuff like this? Toronto fans wanted Florida in round 2, how’d that work out?

We start sucking every time the dumb fans chant ‘we want playoffs’ let’s just not do this stuff any more please :)

That is a florida fan

I just want the team to play a solid 200 foot game, keep shots against below 30, get at least 30 shots on goal, not give up any break-aways or allow Florida's forwards to dance through our defensemen without getting hit hard (I doubt our D will do that), not make stupid D pair changes and line changes when Florida is attacking with the puck, and keep out of the penalty box. If we do that we have a decent chance of winning the game against a very good team that has some key injuries at this time.

And scoring some goals would be nice.
20 goals in the last 9 games = 2.22 goals per game - not good.

Haven't read through the TBL game thread, so what's the consensus on how we played?

Seems we were outchanced pretty badly in high danger attempts? Was it just the Ullmark show?

Reading that Greig played very well, at least.

It was a reverse of the Sabres game, except Vasi still played well, unlike Ullmark against the Sabres. Essentially, we took opportunity of our quality chances, the Lightning didn't. Ullmark was unbelievable as well.

We were a bit loose defensively for the first 5 or 10 mins but Ullmark held the fort and we found our legs.

From there, we capitalized on a odd man rush and a pp to take a lead and shut things down defensively until late in the third when they got a pp with 5 mins left and poured on the pressure, which carried over right until the final whistle.

Stats made it look more one sided than it was, but we also didn't put any offensive pressure on defending the lead in the third

We need to score first as usual
The confidence we get from that 1st goal is crazy
Night and day record when we do .838 W%SF
I"d love to know Ullmark record when we score first
Feels like he elevates when they give him a lead
