Was pointing out that we need offense, especially since our first line isn't performing that well.
However, even with our 1st line not clicking, just was stating I don't expect the Panthers staff to go after any big pieces this early in the year.

Probably should of reworded that sentence better.

Panthers already traded them last minute game-tying goals and OT stealing victory on Saturday for this past playoffs.

Expect it to be a player who is not currently on the NHL team or would otherwise not be if not for injuries.

Can't trade a player you claimed off of waivers for a certain period of time, IIRC. They'd have to waive him again before trading him.

FLA only have to offer him (for free) to teams that had made a claim for him when they got him off waiver; if those other teams decline or if there was none, FLA can trade him.
