This is a very good reminder for everyone celebrating not playing the Bruins.

Florida has been playing for their playoff lives for a while now, and are coming in full of confidence after knocking out a record breaking Bruins team.

We will have our hands full, and if we are going to continue to struggle with breakouts, we are going to have a lot of trouble with being hemmed in by Florida’s forechecking.

Lyon has been good against us I believe that played a factor. They'll likely flip to Bobrovsky if the series is going south for them fast.

Collectively, I’ve probably watched less Second Round Hockey than the other three rounds by far. First round losses were always too raw to get back to watching hockey right away, but I’d usually be able to tune back in for the Conference Finals and Cup Finals for a bit anyway.

Yeah, about their end of regular season. 6-3-1. They lost to rangers, senators and cans, lost their last two (one in ot to us). They played us twice in that span very defensively with 1ot loss and 1ot win while Leafs were testing line combinations and being on autopilot.
With our best lineup we should just walk all over them. That is the fact.

Can’t be understated how helpful Liljegren’s skating and puck moving ability will help if he’s able to acclimatize to the lineup. Leafs had a hell of a time moving the puck against Tampa and Florida forechecks just as aggressively. Lily at his best was great at breaking the puck out, so hopefully he’s ready and rearing to go.
