GDT: Panthers @ Leafs - 7pm Tuesday TSN

They're 5 - 6 -8 in actually hockey games. That's not the record of a contender.

I disagree. I am old enough to remember ties and I think loser point is a clear reference to the point still collected in a losing effort. Winning the game and collecting the second point isn’t a loser point (even if I dislike 3v3 and shootout and also don’t consider it real hockey)

I think if Florida dummies and bullies us tonight then Treliving really needs to consider signing Corey Perry.

i hope 2nd line without nylander can bring it, pressure on marner to perform

ideally i woulda moved him to 3rd line but schkeefe is too much of a wimp to do it
 
Why are reporters bringing up the fact that Florida bounced us last year like this is the first meeting this season? We've already met and Florida reminded us then how much more inferior we are to them.
 
My worry about taking Nylander playing away from Tavares is that he tends to look for Matthews to carry the puck and defer to him.

When he is with JT, he is far more aggressive and takes charge of the line.

I hope we don't see that tonight
 
I almost want the Leafs to get blown out to empathize the serious flaws in this team. Need two top four defensemen to start. Weegar would be a start.
 
What's the over/under on Florida doing about 10 suspension worthy plays and not getting called for any of them and then us getting called on the very 1st infraction we commit?

I'm gonna be honest I only half-tune into these games nowadays, the refs make it such a stupid joke it's barely watchable.
