Honestly our guys have never self labeled themselves outside of being physical and being hard to play against
Every other thing is media labeled.
Consequently, that means the team has earned the reputation by their acts on the ice and not by saying “we are physical too”l.”
He’s trying to defuse an aura created by the media and not one driven by our players. To the same effect, he’s trying to create an aura for his team. Fair, that’s what a coach does.
TLDR, this really didn’t take anything away from our team or earn Toronto anything
Never change - I love your BOOMS! I have cousins who are Leaf fans so we're having A LOT of fun at the moment. f*** em all!I can already hear the BOOMs in the distance.
f*** the Leafs and every single one of their fans [including my brother, mother, father, best friends and my GF].
Well, I'm going to be watching game 3 so that will be the scheduled home game shit the bed loss.need to take both on the road so we can have our usual shit the bed at home game
This is it, we need a split, get the first one, and take home ice.Need at least a split in the big smoke before heading home.
Home ice is nice to have but I really don't think location meansThis is it, we need a split, get the first one, and take home ice.

I think that home ice is an advantage only for game 7. I don't have stats to back it up though, but that's my "feeling", for what it's worth.
I'm happy they start this series on the road. Panthers may be the favorite to win this series, but the pressure is on the leafs. It's way more important for them to win it than it is for us.
We are also first in the playoffs in hits, Toronto 12th.Yeah like I said in the other thread, they're just trying to play Panthers hockey, but we do it better and we've done it longer.
This chart is just insane. Basically they kept at it even though they sucked at it.
