We won the Cup so this post doesn’t mean much. But the drive and hunger just ain’t there right now. I mean you guys might be right in that they are trying to conserve energy and might flip the switch later in the season. But it’s tough to watch them play at 50 percent capacity.

If you saw the Florida Panthers power play in the Stanley Cup Finals, you would understand why I'm not giving him very much credit for the team's Cup win.

There is a clear lack of offensive ability on the back end and that's a surprisingly massive hole left my Montour. Did not expect the impact to be felt this much but it's clear that puck movement is not as smooth from the D group and the lack of speed doesn't give the forwards as much freedom either.

Tonight is what it looks like when your D core isn't what it was last season. It may look like the offense is struggling but it's a symptom of a bigger issue.
