What would it take for CHI at season end to trade Panarin (RFA rights) to NYR?

As a NYR fan:

Option A id be willing to send Zibanejad (RFA rights) which would be a cheaper swap for Chicago although i'm not sure what their interest in a pivot would be since Anisimov has sealed himself as great 2C even though i think hes an elite 3C.

Option B id be willing to offer Zuccarello on a sweet deal (4.5 till 2019) and id be willing to add Kevin Klein and the senators 2018 2nd if TVR is added in with panarin

Option C id offer J.T Miller & Ryan Graves (this is of course if CHI is looking for a much cheaper option) that would give them alot more flexibility

in any case the rangers would then offer Panarin 6x6.5 and have a stud RW to pair with Buchnevich for the future top line

I think the value of Panarin is much greater than OP thinks. Think Zibanejad + 1st + 2nd or Zuccarello + Graves + 1st + 2nd. Oh, and I'm a Rangers fan.

i respect this opinion and i def respect Panarin but personally im not willing to trade anymore 1st rounders even if they are #20-30 may be willing to add a + to the zib offer but not a 1st rounder just bc we need to add prospect depth bad

Neutral party, I don't see Panarin to NYR happening with any reasonable package, and I suspect they gut their roster to keep him.

You aren't willing to trade a 20-30 pick for the current highest scoring left winger in the NHL (ok he was only third last year)? An RFA that just turned 25 and has his prime in front of him still? You realize how crazy that sounds?

i mean is the incentive really high that Chicago would make or break the deal based on a 25th overall pick... id be willing to cough something of similar value up to the 1st in addition to Zib (who also has prime in front of him) but not a 1st round pick unless the plan is to continue stealing 1st rounders ala kevin hayes/JV but eventually without 1st rounders you will be in trouble depth wise. once again no slight on Panarin

Well, I expect Chicago will get 10 better offers than that. Something at least like a 8-10 pick plus a good prospect is where I'm guessing the return will be if he has to be traded.

How do we plan on fitting Panarin next season in our cap? This is assuming that the Hawks are trading him because they can't afford him going forward. In which case he's going to be wanting 6+ million.

You can't be serious. Granted, Nash has more value than most understand but he isn't anywhere near Panarin.

of course its not 100% serious

none of what is written, here in this section of made up trades, is actually serious

its all just make believe, no different than imagining dating Gabriella Wilde,

Land of no calls..
Seems like Panarin would be very expensive to acquire, and we'd be giving up a lot to fill a position that is already reasonably well filled for a while between Kreider, Miller, Zucc, and Buchnevich -- assuming Nash is traded that is. That's also not including Vesey in the mix.

It's an interesting story to follow, that's for sure. If Chicago can't fit him in, maybe they do look at a trade that gives them a skilled top-six winger at a cheaper cap hit. I think most Rangers fans would throw Kreider or Zucc with some sweetener into the mix without hesitation, but I think a team flush with high-end prospects could probably out-bid them.
