I wish Stan would just hurry up and sign him..... The wait is going to be excruciating as we get closer and closer to the end of the season and beyond.

You can swoop in and take Byfuglien, and Sharp, and Saad, and Shaw, and Teravainen, and whoever else, but please, don't let this one be a cap casualty.

when you're paying >$40Mper for just 2F,2D,1G (+ Hossa at $5.3M, he ain't going nowhere) everyday is a Cap crunch and all options are possible

He doesn't have much value tbh. More value to NYR

On pace for 33ish goals. He has value. Especially with some retention. Rick Nash with 2.8 million retained could easily get a 1st rounder. 5 million for a guy who will get you 30+ goals? Easily worth a 1st to a contender.

Still not nearly enough for Panarin. A player we have zero need for. I mean, it would be nice to add him but we need defense. Did I mention it was a right handed defenseman?
