Zajac wasn't getting a 3rd and a 4th. Eric Staal got a 3rd and a 5th, and Zajac had a full NMC that he was only going to waive for one team.

based on what?? this would be a pretty regular return for what both guys are doing this year, especially with salary retention. Palmieri is on pace for 40pts while shooting a career-low 9%. Zajac is a dream of a 3C for any contender that has offensive firepower and just needs a guy that they man match against opp top centers and kill some penalties.
