Depends on what the market for Cozens is, what the other returns are, and how quick Buffalo wants to move on before killing his value more
That reads like wishful thinking on the part of teams that want to trade for Dylan.
His trade value is of minor importance as long as he is a useful player on the team, which he is.
Trading him now would most certainly mean selling low and it would only make the Sabres better if he brought back a 2C better than him or a good 2RHD, neither of which I can see happening

Who's underperforming?

Quinn
Cozens
Byram?

Quinn and Cozens are the biggest. But Peterka and Tuch have been streaky.

On defense, Power and Jokiharju have struggled defensively. Jokiharju is probably on his way out of town, guy just flails out there with his positioning and lack of awareness.

Pagnotta is always afraid to mention more specific things. Plays it safe. There is obviously something cooking there. Trade freeze is 7 hours away

Edmonton
Cozens for Dach + ?
is the plus worth more than Dach?

Because Dach has been one of the worst players in the league this year. Cozens has struggled but surely he has more value than that, dude has a 30 goal season under his belt.

As for Edmonton...

1st + 2nd + Akey or SOR for Tuch?

... Pretty please?

Vultures circling the Sabres for good reason, but this idea you can package futures for one of their more attractive roster pieces is misplaced.

If this team was hitting the rebuild switch it wouldn't be doing it with this general manager.

As long as Adams is in charge, a Sabres trade will be along the lines of what you saw them do earlier this year: hockey trade (Mittelstadt for Byram) or a futures for now deal (Savoie for McLeod)
