How plausible is this. I don't really see Nashville having what Buffalo needs.
Picks and prospects can be flipped to other teams for things they want/need. Doesnt have to be a 1 stop shop.

Sabres and Preds are trading front offices
So Nashville will finally enter the rebuild they need instead of whatever trotz is trying to accomplish

Rarely happens in real life, though. And Buffalo has the trade capital to simply go after what it wants directly so why involve another team.
That being said who knows what kind of craziness this regime has in store for us.

Depends on what the market for Cozens is, what the other returns are, and how quick Buffalo wants to move on before killing his value more

I've been on the record in the Devils sub that I'd really like NJ to make a play for Cozens. I think he's one of the more underrated players in the league on one of the sneaky best contracts in the league, and he helps the top-9 tremendously.

Not sure what Buffalo would want for him, but if the trade is built around one of the Devils blue-chip defensive prospects it should be something the Devils consider.
