Of course they did, this is what AI spit out for them. The idiots think because the Leafs won a lottery that suddenly they aren't a mess anymore. Actual goldfish in this city.
YupThere is a reason Treliving was fired right after the TDL. I'd be shocked if Sundin moves off Knies for anything less than something outstanding
Yup
Sundin knows most of all that Roberts carried the Leafs in 2002 when Sundin was out for majority of the playoffs.
lol there are a lot of delusional fans out therewait wait wait..Leafs fans were trying to Say Blackhawks had to offer Frondell or Nazr, #4, 2027 1st and more and then this is what comes out....bwahahahahahaha
this offer is massive for the Leafs.. Im surprised they didn’t take it and run. WowZharovsky himself is probably worth a top 5 to top 10 pick at this point and has the potential to outproduce Knies, this seems like a silly rumor.
But if that is on the table, Leafs management should take it and run.
Agreed.. Habs should use a package like that for a centerman instead forsure. This won't be revisited as dumbo is no longer the Leafs GM. And although Knies would fit the Habs like a glove, Hughes should direct that type of package towards a 2C and not another winger. Bit of an overpay.
To this day I don't understand why Tre was even exploring a Knies trade (to a direct rival nonetheless) or maybe this was Pelley and one of his AI proposals. Who knows.
It is, but Knies is only 23 and plays a rare game in today's NHL. I'd really consider itInsane price to pay imo
Idk about that price tag but Gorton has talked about getting a play driving winger before. So that lines up.This rumour makes sense. Even Friedman said the player that Hughes talked about at the TDL presser was Knies. This is a hefty price, but one I would have been willing to give up for Knies. Too bad it didn't happen and that Toronto moved on from Trev because this would've been an excellent trade for Montreal
I think it would’ve put Montreal over the top tbhInsane price to pay imo
Not really Habs need a 2nd line center and another RD. We also have issues with our coaches system which was totally exposed in the third round.I think it would’ve put Montreal over the top tbh
Never trade your dawgs. Ie Kadri and Hyman.Lots of talk about culture.. Knies and Cowan are two guys who play with a lot of heart and balls. More of that please not less.
Im wondering if Knies asked for a trade. Only thing that makes sense. This won't be revisited as dumbo is no longer the Leafs GM. And although Knies would fit the Habs like a glove, Hughes should direct that type of package towards a 2C and not another winger. Bit of an overpay.

Knies definitely didn’t ask for a trade. It was TrelivingIm wondering if Knies asked for a trade. Only thing that makes sense.
Tree was caught by Pelley trying to make the deal and Pelley stopped it.This won't be revisited as dumbo is no longer the Leafs GM. And although Knies would fit the Habs like a glove, Hughes should direct that type of package towards a 2C and not another winger. Bit of an overpay.

I don't believe this rumor to be true. Insane price, and these are all pretty big assets, and most actual trades involve non household names.Insane price to pay imo
I also like Knies the player but don't belive he is this "unicorn" ( im growing to hate that term more than people that say straw man to often) player leafs fans have built him up to be. That being said if I were the leafs he'd be the last person on my list of guys to trade given age/contract etc.I don't believe this rumor to be true. Insane price, and these are all pretty big assets, and most actual trades involve non household names.
