No, it doesn't. Montreal cannot even take Callahan straight up for Pacioretty. No caproom, let alone Drouin and his bonuses. And Tampa retaining... doesn't even make a lick of sense, considering the whole idea of this is to sign Kucherov.
If by "adding some", you mean "adding a paid asset", then yeah.
From a value stand point though the trades I suggested do. Kucherov is a legit star player in this league. He has more value than Pacioretty.
The money is the only reason that Tampa would consider moving him.
I agree that the cap space for both teams and the fact they are divisional rivals is a large hinderance on a trade between these two organizations.
Its too bad that montreal cant take Callahan or Filpullas cap hit because I think thats a good deal for them. Tampa isnt making that deal unless they have to, to sign Kucherov.
