Hes on our second line. Im sure snow would be reluctant to trade him. The whole team struggled the first ten including tavares

He's not on the second line, and your package was pretty weak for Pacioretty and Beaulieu.

Ok so let's summarize :

Pacioretty + Beaulieu + 1st + 2nd

for

O'reilly + Kane.

So basically, we aren't much better but on top of it, we take 7,35M$ more and give a 1st and a 2nd on top of it??

KANE-GALCHENYUK-RADULOV
LEKHONEN-OREILLY-GALLAGHER

in my mind its a lot better than

byron-galchenyuk-radulov
paccio-plek-gallagher

but each is own. We agree to disagree on this

Evander Kane is just another off ice problem, and Bergevin won't go near him after that last disaster.
Why the Habs would trade away their best scoring forward before trying out a new coach is beyond me, but if they are that stupid, then maybe E.Kane is what they deserve.
I really like O'Reilly so I hope he doesn't go anywhere near the Habs until Therrien has been fired.
As for the OP, Pacioretty has shown he is "NOT" a leader and should never have been given the C.

Not a chance.
Chance Strome to Nelson and add C.De Haan than you have a deal.

Nelson,Lee and De Haan for Patches and Beaulieu.

I just posted this is in the Habs forum. I think it would be a good deal.

Any Isles fans care to chime in on this?

Bergevin signed Radulov so I dont think he would be affraid to sign Kane. Hes big and play a physical game. Exactly what we need in our top 6. Too many soft players in the CH and Paccio is one of the softest in the whole league

pls what? dont ever know what you are saying.

you think its bad for the habs?

Evander Kane right now IMO, has close to no value. Similar value to Yakupov.

So you are willing to offer Pacioretty + Beaulieu + 1st for O'Reilly?

If it was a weak deal there would not be habs fans agreeing with it. Esp if we include a good prospect.. maybe bellows.

Hasnt he been playing with ladd and strome?

The rumor was that vancouver tried to trade for Kane and both team couldnt come to an agreement. So I dont think Kane has no value like you said. Lower value sure but not value , I dont agree

So my trade would be more like

Beaulieu for Kane
and
Paccio + 2017 1 pick for OReilly

No, Lee is playing with Cizikas and Clutterbuck on the fourth line.

Habs fans are probably thinking Strome is still the same player who put up 50 points (which he's not), and Lee is the same bull who notched 25 goals (which he's not).

You don't just trade a forward like Pacioretty in hopes that Strome and Lee return to the forms they one for one season three years ago. Just not gonna happen.

Hi guys

I have quite an interesting package to offer

Paccio: a leader , one of the best scorer in the league and a very cap friendly salary. 4.5 millions per season. For sure one of the best contract in the league

Beaulieu: First round pick, high potential. Very fluid skater with offensive upside

Montreal need offense so Im not looking to trade for def. I need a center for the second line and a left wing in the top 6 to replace Paccio.

With Price contract ending , the CH is all-in. We are ready to add draft pick or prospect to get the deal done.

What do you guys offer to get Paccio and Beaulieu?

Why do all proposals from Habs fans feature either Pleks in exchange for a young, established star player or else some combination of Patches and/or Beaulieu?

You want a scoring LW? How about that Pacioretty guy? I hear he is available. He might even be Captain material. :shakehead

It not just a weak deal,It's a terrible deal for the Habs.

Think more in teams of Nelson,Lee and De Haan and then lets hear from Hab fans.

Not many teams have what it takes to trade for Max Pacioretty. If I'm Marc Bergevin, the conversation starts with a top 4LHD and young top 6 forward, preference for a C

Pacioretty + Beaulieu versus Fowler and Rakell

or

Pacioretty + one of our C (not named Galchenyuk - McCarron, Danault, Desharnais, Plecky, Mitchell) versus Fowler and Rakell

If a team isn't willing to pay, we'll keep Patch. Simple as that

No Habs fan's have been proposing Plekanec for a young stud roster player.. These are Pacioretty proposals.

Habs would not add to Paccio to get O'Reilly imo.

Dare I even say it would be the otherway around because of the horrible contract O'Reilly has and the sweet deal paccio is on.

Bergevin as a CHaracter driven obsession, no way he goes after a guy like kane!

I dont see the sabres as good trading partners

I think the value is pretty close. Not sure if either team does this though.

I don't think NYI is interested in making any moves unless they are getting a RW and I don't think Montreal is interested in moving Pacioretty. The Canadian market will jump on anyone to get views.

I would take Strome instead of Lee.

As for CDH, i don't see an upgrade on Beaulieu here. On top of that he earns more money and is 2 years older.

Before Bergevin signed Radulov after trading Subban because of his personality, I would agree with you that he would never try get a guy like Kane. Now I dont know what Bergevin might do.

He said he like to build his team with the draft pick and he trade 2 second rounders for a grinder in Shaw:sarcasm:

The general sentiment is we should keep Pacioretty and fire the coach.

I'd predict Beaulieu would start to play up to his potential and Pacioretty would soon recover his scoring abilities.

Offer's no good either, cap wise.

Max Pacioretty
David Desharnais

Vincent Trocheck
Michael Matheson

then flip Beaulieu + (? not sure if +) for Killorn.

You forgot the part where Radulov is a 30 y.o with a wife/kid and matured since the Nashville thing.

Kane is about 25y.o, is fresh off way way way worst than Radulov ever did and galchenyuk is drinking buddy.

Big difference between the 2.

Bergevin traded Eller for Shaw since he got 2x2nd from washinton in the eller deal than traded 2 of the habs 2nd for shaw.... so its kind of a wash....
