Making the trip from Erie this weekend. Looking for places to eat and things to do.
If you like outdoors , a visit to Harrison Park on 2nd Ave East, the south end of Owen Sound for a walk, toboggan hill, and the Harrison Park Inn for breakfast or a meal.

Tipsy Fox Restaurant on 10th St West is a new sports restaurant with a diverse offering .

Drop by the fan club booth at the game and say hi 👋

Valentine's Day is Friday and a number of the local restaurants are doing special evening events that require a reservation so could be a challenge to find a dinner spot without reservations.

Couple of my personal favorites:
Mudtown Station
Parkwood

Coffin Ridge is a cool spot to visit just outside of town if you're into that sort of thing

St Andrew's has a break in the schedule this weekend. I suspect we see Dec recalled for the three games over the long Family Day weekend. As well as they've played, I think you have to leave that top line intact with Mbuyi - Delisle - Hookey instead of looking to reunite the Mbuyi - Dec - Zurawski kid line. I'd try McDonald - Dec - Zurawski and then keep the third line of Cormier - Crawford - Nansi.

I'm pretty high on Easton Mikus and wonder if he should get more of a look in top 9.

I'd like to see him and Varosyan both bumped up a line, think they've steadily improved as the season's gone on but our lines have felt oddly sticky this season. Speaks to the balance and relative depth the team has up front, but I definitely agree that there's more to squeeze out of guys like Mikus if he's given the opportunity.

Also, totally unrelated, but going to be a pretty proud moment for Attack fans tonight as Binnington is the starter for the senior men's national team in an almost best on best tournament. Hope he does great and can be in the mix for the Olympics next winter.

Rough start for him to the season but I've liked his progression over the course of the year and I like what we've seen of late out of him. I think he's a great bottom six guy with the energy and physicality he brings. I think he could be a solid third line option. Have to think the coaching staff has liked what he's brought of late too as he has been getting some more ice time and was recently slotted on the third line.

I'd like to see Varosyan flipped with Waddick for a look on that second line for a few games and take a good look at what he can do in an elevated role. The skill is there with him. With the Attack headed towards a high import pick it would be nice to see what he is and what he might be to decide if you upgrade on both imports in the draft or if there's enough potential there to bring him back. Varosyan's late birthday would give me pause on dropping him for another piece. I think it's headed towards the Attack upgrading on Bleicher as he seems to be the odd man out on the blueline though he may be a tradeable asset to another team as I think he's a decent enough player. For me, if you have a top 10-ish pick in the import selection draft that's too good to pass up.

You are preaching to the choir here on the import situation

Mbuyi watch is now on track for 31 goals and 51 points after tonight's 3G 2A performance. What an incredible run he's on of late. Hookey with another big night himself with 3G and 1A and continues the fantastic season he's putting together. The offense/PP have been really starting to click the last month or so with Mbuyi and Hookey playing a major role.

Man Mbuyi is good. Damn I wish he fell to the fronts. 3rd hat trick of the season as a rookie. If he keeps up the rest of the season around 1PPG I have no idea how he can’t win ROY.

Unless they give it to Medvedev in London but he’s a 17 year old goalie- imo rookie of the year should only ever go to 16 year olds.

Mbuyi has 3 hat tricks in his last 8 games.

They are running out of hats in Owen Sound .

Absolutely un heard of as a rookie. Wonder how he does next year
I think he's super projectable as a prospect by the fact he entered the league this year at 5'10" and 153lbs and is putting up these kinds of numbers. I'd have to imagine he takes off once he properly fills out his frame with some muscle mass.

Barlow is the most recent Attack player to have had this level of success at 16 but, for me at least, Mbuyi has so many more dimensions to his game. It'll be really fascinating to see what he becomes as a player.

Of all the great rookies that came through the Bay Shores doors throughout the years, some pretty good ones played here, Barlow was my favorite, With that said, this new kid on the bloc (Mbuyi) is really something else to watch, and may outclass them all by the time he's done.

And whenever I'd like to know who the next star goalie in the O will be, I just check to see who OS drafted.

Since the Attack finalized their roster Jan 9, we've witnessed 14 Mbuyi bombs in 15 games.

He seemingly scores from anywhere, anyhow.

What a joy to watch .

For the disaster last season became, Degray has hit a bunch of home runs this season .

Just saw a shot of Binnington rocking red with black and white pads. Rocking some old Attack gear?? ;)

Secondary scoring would be nice to see from this team other than the top line every game.. like George keeps us in the game and they can’t muster anything.. wonder why Dec wasn’t called up for the weekend? Apparently they were off this weekend.

Scary to think where the team would be if not for an historic hot streak from our top line. Today a great example of what happens when they aren't finishing (though the top line was still buzzing).

Lines 2-4 and the d pairs feel really static and stale. But the lineup card keeps looking really similar game after game.

Would like to see Zurawski given some new linemates, feels like he's on an island trying to create chances. I feel like him with Nansi, and then centred by Crawford could be a fun line.
