Two 2nds and a 3rd amongst 7 total picks for an OA is great value.

Great deal for the Attack.Two 2nds and a 3rd amongst 7 total picks for an OA is great value.
It's not updated yet but here's the linkWhere can one go see the draft pick table the Attack have now in the future?
Has to be more to come. Niagara, Sudbury, Brantford, Windsor, Erie all have yet to make moves. Could be a flurry of activity in the next 48 hours.By comparison, Saginaw blockbuster deals to Kingston yesterday
3 players = 2 players , 15 picks
Attack trade Guindon = 5 picks
Barlow = 2 players 6 picks
Smith = 7 picks
2 players, 18 picks
The Attack did OK .
I wonder who else is in play?
Let's not forget the 3 NCAA commits coming into camp . Possibly 4.Thank god that one's over the line, was starting to get worried. And given how crowded the roster still is in terms of players fighting for minutes, I'm okay with an all draft pick return. Having the ammo to make trades down the road has been a big issue for DD so this is a step in the right direction.
Edit: The extra second this year is my favourite part. Keep the talent flowing in.
So is McCue next? Assuming you hand on to George for another year
I cannot see that happening, but for any team looking to go deep in the playoffs McCue is the type of player you need.For London I hope the price on McCue is one that they don't want to pay (Hawery), otherwise anywhere but London works. I'd prefer the team keep him and hope he comes back as an OA, but we'll know in two days.
I'd like to see Petrovski be the next one traded especially given where the market is for non-star 2005 players right now.

McCue to Flint is the latest chatter on the boards/twitter.Anymore trade predictions??
Totally agreed on that extra 2025 2nd. Should have a high 1st rounder, our own 2nd should be an early 2nd round pick and then add in that 2nd pick, likely towards the later end of the 2nd round plus a 3rd rounder. Really like that for the 09 draft.Thank god that one's over the line, was starting to get worried. I'll be the first to admit it, I did not like the price we paid last year but a year later and it looks awfully good now. Have to wait and see what the rest of the deadline looks like but our draft cupboard is starting to look really nice after being pretty well empty after last year's deadline.In terms of asset management by Dale Degray - you have to give it to him One year ago traded 3rd Round Pick, Addy & Matejicek for McCue & Smith. In One year has gotten Smith turned into 7 draft picks including a 3rd & 2 2nd's. Even before seeing what McCue fetches. If Addy does not have a significant increase in his game over the next 2 seasons DD walks away from that trade looking like an absolute genius. (if he has not already)

The only concerning aspect of this is that no one is willing to be traded to Owen Sound.. not even younger players who would get an increase in ice time. Draft picks are nice for down the road. Goals are gunna be hard to come by from the looks of it moving forward. Be interesting to see how tonight goes. Wonder if George starts
Zurawski and Mbuyi is a wild combo to dream about for potential top end forwards for the Attack. That's a massive get even if we spend picks in addition to McCue to make it happen.If true, would be a dream scenario for the team and more than likely worth a couple of extra picks going the other way.
About as reliable as it gets around here, yes.Is this guy reliable?
