Mostly bottom 6 players, they seem to understand that if they take a guy like Cernak out, it will hurt them.
That generalizes far too much of what they do as though players they move no longer have use or value.

I actually feel really comfortable with the highly touted college kid joining the locker room. I haven't felt that way about a prospect in a long time. Knowing guys like Okposo and Tuch are in there puts my mind at ease.
As I said before, forcing him to play everywhere but the production unit is a failure waiting to happen.
Well let him continue his career somewhere else. End of this try out is now.

No, that's not what I meant, they are useful, but finding a good top 4 RD is harder than a third line player.

Haha off topic but good ol Varada. Was one of the more shitnag pests on those Sabres teams lol. And was a damn fine part on that checking/shutdown line with Peca for that short period of time .
That being said I will never forgive him for taking that late penalty in Game 6 of 01 series against the Pens where we had the lead with a few minutes to go and just had to grind out and finish the series. Then that penalty happens followed by that bullshit puck that just magically came down right in front of Lemuix's ( sorry drinking screw spelling!) And of course he ties the game to send it into O.T where I believe Straka iced it way. So damn frustrating. We had that series! That was our last hurrah with probably the best assembled team under Dead Puck Era Hasek .
He has long ago been banished to my broken inside ,shattering playoff losses spectrum of anguish.. but you were a great pest you mook. Just did alot of stupid unnecessary shit that seemed to cost the team sometimes. Oh well .
Back on topic! Welcome Owen..Friggin Stoked.. Another piece for next year..Wonder if they shelter him on the 2nd D pairing for a good chunk of the year. With him JPP ,Quinn, UPL , and Krebs ( who has already rode out this season up here for the most part) I am giddy beyond words.
Hopefully Adams doesn't stick to his seemingly Long term approach to the net. He needs to bring in another youngish to late 20s veteran to shore up the crease. Or an old experienced hand like ,idk, Bishop something. Varlamov? Anyone! Just not Korpi..too many people seem to want him and I don't understand why . Even though he fits the Former of my criteria for Adams to bring in. But eh I would be loathed to trade away which draft pick or even a prospect for him.. I just don't think it would be a good move. I feel his playoffs moments against Tampa a few years back are driving people's desires and clouding minds.
