I think 4-5 OAs will be out of the league by the deadline. With Budnick returned, Guelph now has four OAs. At some point, I think Heyes will be the fourth OA for Kingston.

I think it’s safe to say Dylan Roobroeck will not be returning to Oshawa, that means we are down to 4 teams with 4 OA’s, Brandford, Ottawa, Peterborough. Soo,

There is room for one in Brampton when they decide who they will be adding, we’re down to 3 players that won’t have a home in the OHL.
Guelph just got Thomas Budnick back so they also have four.

Guelph will send Ryan McGuire Home
Peterborough will send Ryder Mcintyre Home
Brandford will send Ben Bujold Home
Soo will Send Caeden Carlisle Home

& likely one of Ottawa’s 4 Gerrior, Mackenzie, Stonehouse, Mayich will end up some where else it may not be Brampton they could acquire someone like Allard and make for some OA shuffling but I believe those 4 names are the players that will be off OHL rosters

I bet you are wrong on two of those predictions

Allard is being moved so they wont need to send anyone home.
Also hearing whispers of a Petes trade including an OA that isn't Mcintyre so he may be safe.

I'm guessing those are the 2 he thinks you have wrong.

Carlisle would never pass through waivers. He will be playing somewhere in this league after the trade deadline 100%, but pretty sure the Soo decided to keep him in the Soo before naming him Captain. Maybe if Bryce were returned from Hartford things could change, but barring that it seems highly unlikely.

The excess players will be waived if they aren’t traded. It doesn’t mean those particular players will end up out of the league. Players like Bujold may be a Prime candidate for a waiver claim on a team with 3 OAs meaning that team would end up waiving their 3rd guy. So, we may see some shuffling prior to the actual event that leads to the players being out of the league.

Kingston
Makes sense for Kingston just on this level Melee and Guindon both 04's and both from Rockland but purely conjecture at this point

Just to clarify to my knowledge Kingston is not the one making a call for Melee.
I know some people see me post and think Kingston so i just wanted to clarify.

Can’t be that close of a trade because Melee is in the lineup tonight for the Petes

what team did you hear had the interest in him?
As mentioned i do not have all the details yet just that there is a lot of interest for him right now.
He's probably the one that returns something so it would make sense over losing Mcintyre for nothing.

I've been thinking about removing Roobroeck. If he plays both games with Hartford in the AHL this weekend and reaches the nine-game mark, I'll take him off the list. The only reason he's still been on here is that he's listed on Oshawa's roster on the OHL website

I have a hard time believing there is “a lot of interest for him” how many teams would realistically be in on him 2-3 if that
