Definitely deserves its own thread. I posted this in the other one but earlier I wanted him to hit 800 at home so I checked the Caps schedule, saw they had a 3 game home stand after their next game. Thought well he’s playing pretty good so he might be able to get 3 goals in his next 4 games. Then he goes out and gets a hat trick in that first game lmao.

I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility that he has another 70-80 goals on top of that. We'd likely be counting down the record this season.
