That team is an absolute friggen wagon. I don't know why people still doubt that the team is for real.

I've watched a lot of their games this year because of the goal chase. They're extremely difficult to beat, especially in regulation. They're good at every position and are dismantling one of the top teams in the League today after destroying the subpar Penguins yesterday.

Insane firepower at the blue line with Carlson and Chychrun

Protas and Wilson provide size and skill

McMichael with a breakout year

Newcomers are doing pretty good

I have a feeling there's going to be an Ovechkin hattrick today. He seems to be feeling it and the puck is coming to him in dangerous scoring areas.

If he doesn't score another on Pickard, I can see the Oilers getting back a goal or two and pulling the goalie and Ovechkin capping off the hattrick.

The most amazing thing about Ovechkin's chase of Gretzky is that he may actually do it in less games played.

Make room on Mt Rushmore.

When we talk about Gretzky, Lemieux, Orr, Howe and Crosby....it is an injustice to not include Ovechkin. It's a big 6 in my opinion and other than Gretzky and Lemieux being 1 and 2....the rest are interchangeable based on personal preference.
