Somehow, all these years later, Ovie is still surpassing my expectations.
Crushing them, really.

Not the way he’s playing. He has 2 2 goal games this season.Could be the last Ovechkin hat trick we ever witness
I sure as hell wouldn’t bet against it. I just think we should enjoy itDon’t disrespect the GOAT like that lol, you can never beat against Ovi. Still 60+ games left to get another one

I’ve been saying this for like 5-6 years now. I don’t think he’ll stick around to chase it but I think if he wanted to get it he 100% easily wouldWatching him tonight and I think he honestly has a chance at 1000 if he plays long enough
makes sense to walk out on top with an all time record like that. Wouldn’t blame him one bitI personally think he walks away at the end of next season.

You are right I thinkI personally think he walks away at the end of next season.
Agreed. There will be nothing else for him to play for after this.I personally think he walks away at the end of next season.
What if the Capitals are contending?I personally think he walks away at the end of next season.
What if the capitals are contending?
At this pace they may actually win the east this year. What if the Capitals are contending?
Unless the thinks he can chug along to like 1000 or something, as silly as that sounds.Agreed. There will be nothing else for him to play for after this.

Ah that will be a bittersweet day when it arrivesI doubt Ovi will play that long. He most likely breaks Gretzky's record, pass 900 goals & then he will exit the NHL after the next season when his contract expires.
