There isn't another goalie in the NHL that has got as many chances as Mrazek. I feel like he has been struggling for years.

I remember watching Czech Rep vs Russia at the WHJC years ago. Vasy and Mrazek both had a spectacular game, and I thought that both of them were a lock to have a great NHL career. But only Vasy has become a real superstar.

That's never happened. A player has scored 2 EN goals in a game 22 times in NHL history (Ovechkin, Lemieux and Dionne are the only ones to do it twice).

Gretzky once got a goal and two assists on empty nets in 45 seconds.

Simply unbelievable. It feels like it was just yesterday when he scored his first two goals against Columbus in his first NHL game.

I hope he doesn't get the #800 as an empty netter. It's hard for me to cheer on Ovechkin, but his hockey talent is absolutely through the roof. It would feel wrong if it wasn't a fully earned goal.
