Seems like Columbus really wanted to keep him. Usually you give up dollars for term, or term for dollars. He got everything as a fourth liner with relatively poor metrics. Olivier's already 28 and riding a hot streak.

I suspect a lot of Columbus' team won't sustain their numbers next season. There's obviously growth from the young guys but I doubt Marchenko is a long term PPG guy or Voronkov repeats. They'll still improve by virtue of the young guys like Fantilli and Johnson but I wouldn't overcommit to their current vets.
