I'm...confused. So on one hand, I hear toronto isn't that better 'cause Raddysh is actually not that great...but Tampa is much worst because they lose the same Raddysh?

Also, if we have to talk about Cinderella runs...I would say our playoffs were...way MORE than Buffalo entire season. Come on now. Benson will take an even greater role. And you will also see way more a kid like Helenius. Every kid improves. Not only ours.
So Benson and Helenuis will be much better. But Demi and Slaf will have plateaued. Demi, a much more valuable player than both Benson and Helenius. And so a full year of Dobes. Ok.

Why is Buffalo ahead of us? We beat them, unless I just woke up from a fantastic dream.

I think it’s close. In my rankings I had the Habs ahead of Buffalo. See below.

So after the moves over the last week what does an Atlantic Divison power ranking look like?

1. Florida
2. Montreal
3. Buffalo
4. Tampa Bay
5. Boston
6. Toronto
7. Ottawa
8. Detroit (assuming Larkin gets traded)

Just saw that TSN is asking Meghan Chayka to analyze the new Leafs acquisition, Darren Raddysh.

I thought... "Chayka"? What are the odds? Then I googled her.

1- She has a business in hockey analytics, which I guess makes her competent. Nothing wrong here.

2- She's a 10 out of 10. Again, nothing wrong here. Good for ratings I guess.

3- She's John Chayka's sister. Now, I have a problem with that. Toronto medias asking the GM's sister to have an unbiased opinion on her brother hockey moves? That's a total lack of journalism ethics. The least TSN can do is ask her NOT to comment on any Leafs moves. Come on...

Of course we’re ahead of them! Not by a mile, but they have a very fluid situation with their roster right now, and I don’t think any of our star players have asked to be traded yet lol.

We faced them 7 times in a row and can certainly say we had the upper hand during at least 4 of those games. They have good youth, we have better youth. They have a mature core, we’re not there yet. But we still beat them.

No clue why we wouldn’t be in front right now.

About two weeks ago, everyone here was ready to crown Montreal as the top dog in the Adam’s. Now, it’s like we fall 4th just because. Lots of drama here.

Ottawa trades Brady Tkachuk to the f***ing Florida Panthers. Wow!

9th & 25th this year, a 1st in 2029 & a 2nd in 2030. I'm really surprised they went with picks only. I guess they're retooling?

Forward group doesn't look great with only Stutzle as an elite forward.

If they decided to have an off year, they certainly picked a hell of a draft year to do it. 2027 draft is f***ing epic.

TSN really does a bad job hiding their Leafs bias. I always have trouble viewing them as neutral when so many of their commentators clearly enjoy and watch more Leafs content than Habs or other teams. You can tell in their analysis which teams they watch and which they dont.

I do have a bad sense of where things are going. For all the talk of parity, its the same teams who seem to be in the mix and winning cups over the past few years which is fueled by top players on the market only wanting to go to those teams.

The 9th this year doesn't fit with the age of their core. I mean they probably will package it for an established player but still.

Glad go see ottawa and detroit getting weaker, the Atlantic is already tough enough

Their core is really only Sanderson and Stutzle. They're 23 & 24, respectively and have 5 years left on their contract.

Pinto & Cozens are both 25 with 4 years left.

It depends who they take at #9, I guess. If they manage to get Smits, Bjorck or Verhoeff, they're a year away.

It's not great in terms of getting no NHLer back, but it's not bad if the plan is to retool.

2027, they could bring in a stud from the 2027 draft if they land top 10, and add Smits/Verhoeff to back end. It'll be much more talented team.

This is why I wanted to buy at the trade deadline. Now we have to go through an upgraded Florida to even get out of the division. They're gonna get hellebuyck too for peanuts just you wait.

There's no way Helleybuck goes for peanuts. Chevy is known for getting good returns and being patient.
