Nobody is laughing. Not sure how any of our fans would equate trading a 1st and a 2nd for Dvo as worthy of laughing at anybody. It was bad for both teams. The team laughing for now is Arizona. They used that 1st round pick along with other picks to get a 11th overall which they used to draft Geekie and then acquired Sergachev with Geekie. They also used the 2nd round pick to get Durzi.

Draft was mediocre. But they probably were fixated on centres. And if it wasn't KK it would have been Zadina, an even bigger dud.

And why it would have been Zadina? The whole Zadina narative is full of holes.

Brad "Al Bundy" Treliving saying his Leafs need a DNA change should be great news for his former Flames player Sam Bennett. Wouldn't surprise me even a little bit if Treliving offers Bennett 7 x 10m if he makes it to UFA on July 1st.

They took a reach with JK specifically because center was such a desperate need for the organization at the time. No way they pass on Tkachuk if a winger was the route they wanted to go.

Easy to say it when Marner is on the verge of UFA and Tavares too
