Bruins post game thread has plenty of anger at the refs but a lot of sage posters there that acknowledge the better team is winning the series.
While that is true it is irrelevant. Better teams lose all the time. They would probably have lost anyway but the refs guaranteed it.

Maybe the Habs can get Matthews and McDavid when there contracts expire. Thet aren't winning where they are now. And there is no Arizona for Matthews to go to anymore.

Playoff standard of officiating benefits Vancouver. Edmonton you can see is already frustrated and arent battling or changing tactics.

Only way they survive the series is they realize you have to play more on the edge. Zadorov, Myers, Joshua are all playing on the line and you have to

Its not getting called, Oilers havent realized this

Oh ya, an get a big save err, a good errrr.

Ok a save for once

You go up 1-0 on home ice and your goalie promptly gives up 3 on like the next 6 shots

At some point you question the coach. Skinner doesnt have it. You just need to make regular saves add an odd big one and Skinner has done neither

The 2nd & 3rd goals by Boeser were just absolutely brutal defensive plays by Edmonton.

The 3rd goal, yeah, brutal giveaway by Foegele, but where the f*** is Nurse going? Guy is trying to play Ceci's position. Problem is, Ceci is already there!, so is Foegele, who back tracked. What the f*** are you doing Nurse? Good god, he's an awful defenseman.

2nd goal, again 3 guys on the puck. Boeser is left with time and space to shoot where he wants.

The only goal I blame on Skinner is the 1st. Point shot, glove side from distance, yeah, that can't go in. Skinner has glove issues like Primeau, so Primeau's upside is probably Skinner.
