Well I mentionned that a few days ago and got a "could have, might have, you are missing the point" answer, so...

I thought before the series, Edmonton had a chance but expected Florida to win. Of course, my hopes were pretty much dashed after game 3 and admittedly, conceded Panthers are just too good overall, but mostly because of Bob.

However, he crashed last game and so far, kinda mortal today.

As great as the Oil been playing, so far, the turning point was the save Skinner made on Verhaeghe on the 2 on 1. I think if Florida tied it on that shot, it woulda been over in 4.

Anyhow, series obviously not done, let alone this game, but that hope is coming back.

I remember when we had a 3-0 lead on the Sens.

Then the habs lost game 4, and I started to panic.

Then the habs lost game 5, and I'd resigned myself to the reverse sweep.

Then Montreal won game 6 and all was forgotten.
I'm still pissed I missed Game 6 and Carey's shutout due to work. Pretty sure that's to date, the only Habs playoffs game I've missed in my life.

This vid is still priceless  "......yeah...."

Bolts fans felt the exact same thing in that same year against us.
