Well Prime have a quota of Canadian contents to fulfill and they also get to strengthen their tie with the NHL. Not a bad move for them, they weren't setting out to reinvent the wheel.

It's basically just them laying down the groundwork before getting the actual full rights in 2026, trying a few different things early, working out what's going to be their approach, who could be good talking heads, etc. It's actually very smart.

Utah will go by Utah Hockey Club it's first year while fans continue to vote for the team name. At the same time, they reveal their color scheme and jersey concept.
I do like the color scheme.

It definitely has potential, I like it. I sorta expected them to go with something similar to the Jazz's colors, they took a completely different direction with it.

I don't mind the colors but this is weak. They really went with the Utah ''Insert Team Name here'' along with a generic jersey layout. If I lived there, I would hold off buying a jersey until they have a definitive nickname.

The only suitable name was Saints to counter the Devils and appeal to the LDS church members, based in Salt Lake City.

I think it's the right decision. Don't rush things the jersey and name is so important for marketing. You don'T want to be stuck with a jersey ugly like that
