true story, I'm watching at a bar and a guy sits down next to me and says he has parlay bet going:

- Chiefs win Super Bowl ✅
- UConn wins NCAA Men's ✅
- Oilers win Cup ❓
- Celtics win NBA championship ❓

says he made that bet in January, says he bet $50 and if it hits it pays $8000 😆
They will use 20 of those 50 bucks to show us more betting adds.

I want to say the result was predictable but I never expected it to be this bad. Oilers got a weak goalie and a weak defense and they are getting exposed. There's just so much that a elite offense can do. They are trying to pull a 2016-2017 Pittsburgh Penguins but at least Matt Murray was great during their runs.

It's really unfortunate because they should be much better if they had competent management.

Huge game by Bobrovsky, he was phenomenal tonight and the real difference maker. Panthers are such a well coached team.

Well, usually it's Florida outshooting their opponents 2-1, but Edmonton outshoots them 33-18 with some really good scoring chances, but Bobrovsky shut them down.

Florida was much better in the 3rd period. They controlled the puck/play a lot.

Florida's first SCF winning game. They were swept by both Colorado and Vegas previous finals.

Florida played much better in the 3rd and now a lot of pressure on the Oilers not go down to 2-0.

Florida won game 3 last year against Vegas

Game 1 is always a wildcard, we’ll see where things stand a bit better at the end of game 2. Oilers have adjusted well the last 2 rounds too. With that being said, I’m more than fine with tonight’s outcome. :D

I wouldn’t blame the game on Skinner, but the rate he gives up a goal on the first shot of the game is something I’ve never seen before. Not even when goalies wore 50 pound Cooper pads on each leg.

Who's the projected 10th overall pick in this draft?

Other than maybe Marner I don't see anything else of value on the Leafs, that they would be willing to trade, to get the 10th pick in this draft.

I also can't see the Devils trading for Marner and then likely having to pay him upwards of 12m longterm. That would throw their salary structure completely out of whack going forward. Maybe if they could unload Meier and the remaining 7 years and 8.8m caphit in the deal along with the 10th pick it could work for them but I can't see the Leafs wanting to take that Meier contract on and I don't blame them.
Probably first pairing D. Draft is stacked on #1 Defensemen. Leafs system is thin.

Leafs probably use caproom to sign defense and goalie
