Not just another team — they are on the majority of players’ destinations to avoid.Just another team locking their aging core for way too long. GMs are more interested in saving their hide short terms than planning long term and few players have any interest in signing short terms contracts anymore. This is the result.
What did Montreal lose in the Monahan trade with Winnipeg going out in the first round ?
27-28 OA pick3rd round pick. But the first round pick being 26-27th is better than being 32nd + 3rd pick IMO.
EDIT : It's worth noting that the pick would've been in 2027.
27-28 OA pick
27 if Dal loses series to VGK
For 26 two of NYR, CAR, DAL had to NOT make final-4 of their respective conferences
Won't know til we see what teams make final four.
I hate this new playoff and lottery format.... I still remember us losing to New York in 20217 playoff and still drafting after the same team that beat us....
every year at training campwhoa
one big important question for you - do the Leafs ever win the cup?
Can we have a name please? Please use namesI mean he is skilled, has a good shot, good size & speed. He looks good. But, he can't process the game fast enough at NHL level.
Got it thanks3rd round pick. But the first round pick being 26-27th is better than being 32nd + 3rd pick IMO.

Car and rags can’t both make conf final. They play each next round.27-28 OA pick

Because the only way to get it is to beat the Leafs at it.If Leafs come back and win this, Bruins will hold the title of the biggest chokers in the league
They also lost to Carolina in game 7 of 2022 playoffs so that would be 5 elimination gamesThe B's have now lost their last 4 elimination games. They lost games 5, 6, and 7 to Florida last season and game 5 this year. If they say before game 6 that this isn't playing on their minds right now they are flat out lying.
They already said "Last year was last year, this is this year" before game 5 started. The B's have now lost their last 4 elimination games. I think Boston can give them good seriesYes. Or, Toronto. They're a big, fast talented team that plays with an edge.
Forgot about that game 7 loss to the Canes. The B's just can't close teams out of late and if they lose game 6 Thursday they'll be really shittin' themselves going into a game 7.They also lost to Carolina in game 7 of 2022 playoffs so that would be 5 elimination games

Barron seems like a type of player that will follow the Jeff Petry development path. I think he has the tools to figure things out , I don't think the org will have the time to see it happen though , with other guys knocking at the door.I was talking about Justin Barron. He's a toolsy player, but no toolbox. His biggest issue is he's too slow in his decision making on D. Well, that & he can't win a board battle to save his life. We should move him, and move forward with Reinbacher & Mailloux as our top RD prospects then draft a couple RD in 2024.
