All players are morons. If they weren't they would have the NHLPA insist on 20-30 game suspension for deliberate hits to the head.
Although Rifai may have been asking for it. He was one of the plugs cheapshoting Habs.

I don’t think that’s a suspension, I’m not sure it was a direct shot to the head. Looks like shoulder to shoulder, with a nice spin o Rama from the leaf player.

I had the impression that was always the plan when they acquired and Askarov was aware of it. Both of Shark goalies are UFA at the end of this season, so his path to the NHL is clear for next year.He will be pissed
