Swayman should consider signing in Europe and tell Boston to F off

There will come a point where Neely will have to bring out his inner Sea Bass:

Maybe .915%. Swayman only at .916% last year.

If Korpisalo has good start wonder if Bruins risk letting Swayman sit all year?
As long as they are in the playoffs solving their golies issue at the TDL is easier than dealing with a bad contract to Swayman in the future. I hate the Bruins as much as anyone but it looks like Swayman is asking for too much for a guy who has one good season as a number 1 (> 41 games). I think the Bruins stand pat for as long as they can and for good reason probably.

Isn't Boston treading water, a bit? They are not expected to be contenders so why not let the Swayman situation run it's course.
Not having him on the roster maybe isn't the end of the world.
If the seasons turns to shit they can always claim that it's because Swayman was greedy and wouldn't sign a fair contract. If they float they can point to Korpisalo and whoever backs him up did a just as decent job.

A trade return will probably be better around the draft so I don't see the need for Boston stressing too much about the whole situation.

The weird thing is, Swayman and the Bruins are going to end up getting a deal done, it's pretty much the only outcome possible. No other team is in a position right now to give Swayman the type of deal he's looking for and there are no equivalent goalie available for the Bruins to play option B with. They can cut all the promos they want on eachother, in the end they'll still have to make it work.

Victor Söderblom recently signed with Brynäs in SHL.
He's a Utah RFA, don't know if his situation differs from Swayman in any other way.
The reason to sign in Europe? In Europe, he could sign at something like 500k/year, and im generous. At that point, if he needs money , he should sign the Boston Bruins offer…
