They are coached by Travis Green. It can't last. Canucks have one good player and a lot of brain dead ones.

Ullmark has stepped his game up big time. They're 10-2-1 in last 13, but it is also a really soft part of their schedule.

They've beaten Calgary x 2, Anaheim, SJS, Detroit, Nashville, Seattle, Pittsburgh, Carolina & now Vancouver last night.

They lost to LAK & NYI, and lost in a shoot-out to Anaheim on the road.

Only Carolina is a tough team. Vancouver is struggling right now & are in danger of missing the playoffs.

Anyways, Ottawa is pretty infamous for crashing post trade Deadline so we'll see what happens there.

Ottawa win 6 in a row now. They look pretty legit.
Their roster isn't bad enough to be as bad as they've been. But to be fair the sabres roster is better than theirs and they're below us in the standings.

At the time time if we win our games in hand by going 2-0 we would pass five metro teams in the standings. No runaway teams in the east this year.

Matthew was in the line-up last night, and they beat up the Sabres (it was their 12th consecutive loss).

And the Leafs will always managed to win more than they lose, but they haven't won more than 4 games in a row so far this season and two of the games went to OT.
Damn was the retreading of Lindy actually a devious tank move. I see no belief on that club.

Their D is much better than I ever remember it being.
I was surprised at how good Chabot looks on the D side.

The drama in Vancouver is intensifying. After the coach and captain confirmed the rumors were true about Miller and EP...EP told the media they were making shit up and stop talking about it.

At least the Canucks fans can get some fun drama despite their team sinking in the standings. Bright side!

We all know has this has to end if there is a fire.

It's funny because last year the Canucks machine had almost zero adversity until demko got hurt in the playoffs.

They were remarkably healthy, there was no drama, and their consistency from game to game and their attention to detail was impressive.

Fast forward 1 season later, and they have had a bunch of key injuries/absences. People are wondering how to get pettersson going and whether the big ticket they paid him is going to anchor them for a long time. The game to game consistency is definitely not there and they producing flat out stinkers from time to time.

I think all of this could be a blessing in disguise as long as they can keep their head above water (which they have). The most important thing is to have your best form in the playoffs. If they get healthy at the right time, these experiences could shape them well in dealing with the playoffs too.

As for miller and pettersson, I'm not surprised there would be a clash there. Those are two opposite personalities. I just get a kick out of these hacks in the media who want to blow it out of proportion though. There's 20 plus guys in the dressing room and you think they all automatically like each other? They think that's a practical theory?

The only difference now is that they caught wind of this particular rift but there's many more from the past they don't know about.

It's about working together to reach a common goal. You don't have to necessarily like each other to get there. It's more common than these media types paint it to be.

I don't think it's a Wheeler type of situation, Wheeler was a bully who didn't want to lose his spot to a better player, here Tocchet talked about "when it's your turn to go at the net, it's your turn" and "playing for the jersey and not the name in the back" when asked about it.

The coach confirmed it?
Him and Q. Hughes a few days ago. Both less or more said it was just normal locker room disagreement/in-fighting and to ask Miller/EP about it.

I thought we weren’t allowed to talk about Michkov here because some people got their wittle feewings hurt that he’s having a dominant rookie year? Oh wait he’s gone pointless in some games which means we can’t shit on him but can’t praise him. I get it now.
