Adding a guy like Eller to the lineup is exactly what we need short term. It puts back players in the right chair and add some veterans presence to lead the group. It cost almost nothing and could help a guys like Dach for example. You put Eller in center with Dach could help him on the long run because Eller play the right way. Both big guys with good physical attributes even if Dach is more talented. Always love Eller specially since he leave the Habs cause he was use the right way.

No one cares
I watched the Sens/Leafs game and it was a textbook forechecking display from the Sens, the Leafs had no answer for them. If the Sens can ever find consistency they will be a tough team to play against for a long time.

So Caps got Eller for a 3rd and a 5th about a decade down the road. Too steep price to pay, Kent? You don't think your team can use a player like that? FFS! These picks is not what I'd call "mortgaging da future". Just ridiculous.

I'm looking at the U21 leaders in the AHL.

My boy Miroshnichenko with the perfect statline of 7g 7a in 14 games. Another prospect that I love, Frank Nazar, is having a great start too, 1.22 ppg.

It's a great crop of youngsters coming up. Beck at #6 for points. I have no idea who's that Cagnoni fellow.

so is Kenzie fulltime announcer? no more Kenzie on hab games?

From an athletic article yesterday.
Lalonde will broadcast select Senators games this season, making her the first female NHL play-by-play voice assigned to calling games for a team on television in Canada.

The Ottawa native will continue her duties as TSN’s Montreal bureau chief, which includes hosting Montreal Canadiens games broadcasts. Lalonde will fill in for games not broadcasted by play-by-play men Gord Miller or Matt Cullen this coming season.

Wonder if Levi could potentially be available via trade? Would fit in nicely as Primeau’s replacement IMO

Reimer will be sent to AHL. He signed with Buffalo in off-season as a #3, but didn't clear waivers after training camp. Buffalo can send him straight to AHL. Same thing happened to Kahkonen. He signed with Jets. They lost him on waivers then got him back off waivers.

Sens decent team. Goaltending killed them recent years. Ullmark fixed that. Stupid trade Boston sending him to a rival

Edmonton has 17 pts. Montreal has 12 pts, but they have the same amount of regulation wins. Utah also has 17 pts & they have one less regulation win then Montreal (4 to 5).

Edmonton & Utah are tied for WC2 in West. Edmonton has the tie breaker. Montreal of course is last overall.
