Vancouver had a 4-1 lead over Calgary and lost 5-4 in OT as Flames took over in 3rd period.

Oilers got crushed 6-0 by Jets. Pens ditto (by Rangers).

Vegas double-upped Colorado 8-4.

Only game with less than a total of 6 goals scored was Montreal's with 1. Lol

9 games on schedule tonight.

It's on!
Hard to understand how Mc david didn't even register a one shot!!!!

Meh. They started something like 3-11 last year including a convincing loss to SJ. Then ended up finishing with 104 points.

As long as mcdavid doesn't have a significant injury, they will eventually get it going.
For sure but to lose 6-0 on home ice is significant

You get the feeling that Edmonton will regress this year.
To lose 6-0 on opening night is shocking too me.
One thing to remember is that they had a horrible start last year. Got crushed by Vancouver a couple of times and people weren't sure if they were going to make the playoffs.

Edit: Looks like some folks beat me to this.

It's still early days. But man, they could really use a solid goalie and some blueline help.
