The hockey gods are trolling us. Hughes tried to confuse them with his wacky trade conditions, and now they're going to punish us again for our hubris.

Wont last. I would be very surprised if they draft anywhere after 15th. Their vet goalie sucks and Wolf is green and not used to play 40+ games. It wont last the question is will it last long enough for them to draft between 11th and 15th?

It's early but the math is starting to look pretty encouraging. Buffalo was 22nd (11th from the bottom) last year with 84 points, for Calgary to match that they need 73P the rest of the way for a .480 P%, which would be slightly better than last year's full-season Ottawa/Arizona teams. Hopefully they can keep up this hot streak to bank more points and make the rest of season pace easier.

They're not "good" on paper by any means but Huberdeau, Kadri, Kuzmenko, Coleman, Andersson, Weegar, Backlund, etc. are all good players. Sharangovich is good too and he should be back at some point. If Wolf can steal them a couple games that might be enough for them to play around .480 hockey the rest of the way.
