And their other prized summer acquisition, Ryan Reaves, is often scratched, and when he plays, it's anywhere between 5-10 minutes (sometimes even less than 5).
I really and truly don't understand in what universe Brad Treliving was a good option for Toronto. Not that I care but it does go to show the problem with the Leafs went higher than Peabody as many suggested.

I can understand if the team wants to add a physical presence. What makes absolutely zero sense is Treliving signed him to a 3-year deal at 36 years old.

And Reaves has been as physically threatening as Ylonen, too.
I said last season long before Christmas LVK had the ideal 4th line coming in under the cost of Gallagher. Looking at the skillset they possess and comparing them to this guy they knew was well beyond his prime. It's easy to see just how clueless Toronto's Pro Scouting team is not to mention anyone who signed off on it.

Is Benson further along then Matt Savoie already? Hopefully Rein amounts to something, as Benson seems to have progressed quite well since end of last year.
Yes he is. He's just on a different level as a prospect. Last year he was clearly the best player on his team, and they started struggling the moment he went out with an injury.
How he fell to 13th is crazy.
It's a typical size thing.

All of these early games will cross over with or directly compete with the Dolphins/Jets, but for some reason on the main board there are multiple professors that will argue every scheduling decision made by the NHL this week was a masterwork of 5D chess

Imagine, they could hire anybody in the world cause "they are not limited to french speaking candidates", and they hired Treliving.
