I can’t wait until someone drops the Goliath Rempe until he’s pretty much done for the season. That run he took at Lyu was uncalled for. I don’t care who drops him and where. Could be the Russian mafia for all I care. I officially hate NYR more than I ever did.

Before you get on my case, imagine the Rags coach telling Rempe, who has zero brains, to take a run at Tkachuk.

Absolutely backbreaking loss for the Pens tonight in Calgary. I know you can't just go into a full rebuild with Sidney Crosby on the roster, but, uh, what else can you do at this point?

I was thinking about this last night.

Panthers have lots of guys that can fight, but no one is near in his weight class.
Hopefully Reeves rang his bell a little last night and he doesn't want to fight.

In the East, 5 teams are pretty much guaranteed in the playoffs - FLA, BOS, TOR, NYR, CAR. After that I think the remaining 3 will come from a group of 5 - PHI, DET, TBL, NYI, WSH. I predict that two of PHI, DET, TBL will make it and one of NYI, WSH will make it.

In the West, 6 are pretty much set, VAN, EDM, VGK, DAL, WPG, COL. The remaining 2 will most likely be NSH and LAK, but CGY (5-0 over their past 5) or maybe STL has a shot if one of the other two go cold, but I doubt it.

The exact feelings of every other crying fanbase after they play us. We cant have it both ways. Keep your head up!

Sorry, not an equivalent. Rempe is different from the rest. That’s why I singled him out.

We don’t have one guy who’s a giant whose only job is to go after the other team’s talent.

Our guys are not exceptional fighters, our effort is team wide where everyone contributes. The Rags have Rempe trying to destroy their talented opponents before they send him back down to Hartford. They don’t give a shit about Rempe’s hockey future. They only brought him in to be a fighting machine. The rest of the Rags are cowards.

That’s why it’s not at all comparable.

Again that is just your/our perception, most fans believe we as a team are worse by far.

Teams are trying to even the playing field, they won't be able to.

Rempe like Reaves and players of their ilk are unplayable in the playoffs. We don't have one trick ponies, that's why there is so much salt.

WSH won’t make it. It was a pipe dream.

I think the bolded is where KW is coming from. I get what you're saying, other teams hate us because we play hard and can be seen as dirty, but I don't see our guys going out to intentionally hit or fight to injure, plus all our guys can and will play every game. People can hate on Cousins all they want, but he's still a legit player. Guys like Rempe... Feel like the slideshows of the 90s.

It's kind of like Vegas or Carolina. They play hard too. But i respect them for their game as much as I hate it when we play them. Rempe is something else IMO

Rempe is a young kid trying to earn a gig. I don't see it continuing for much longer, he will get seriously hurt sooner or later. Even Worrell didn't fight every night.

We have seen scenarios like this before.
