It’s weird to see Nylander not play with as much confidence..he’s too quiet these days

Robertson has looked pretty solid tonight in very limited action (again), I’m not sure why they don’t just give it a look with him on that second line… Even if it’s just for a couple shifts.

replace him with Kerfoot for a shift or two and double shift Kerfoot for Robertson's and Spezza's shifts for a little while

Kerfoot just doesn't have the skill to hang in a top six. He's a good third line player but no more. Tavares has also been a very selfish player this season. He seems to try and do way too much with the puck.

Tavares doesn’t have it, unless he gets the puck shot off him he ain’t scoring

nylander needs to shoot, he’s our best chance at scoring on that second line

Not actually liking the defense in this game. Sure they haven't given up too much but Buffalo sucks. Not enough guys back there who do a good job moving and skating with the puck.

Everyone wants a banger back there, which obviously would be ideal *if they can make a play* my biggest issue with the back end is not enough guys who can make a solid tape to tape pass on the move.
Cranking a guy who has the puck is great, taking it and moving it up ice efficiently is 10x better

First 2 would be under Lou’s guidance, Friedman literally just said don’t expect Dubas to act like his jobs on the line WRT trades at the deadline.

He said that he didn’t expect Dubas to act like his job was on the line and he is right. I would expect him to act that way. I would expect him to do everything that he can do to win but the fact team aims he bet 50% of the cap on 4 forwards and he is only going to get so many chances to show that that model can succeed. At some point he will bu under the gun
