He is not a 4th liner. He would show better with some skill beside him. We know he's not gonna get 1st or 2nd line minutes though.

I think he should be developed more thoughtfully away from the spotlight to be honest. He has some great tools and positive traits but is still quite young and probably could learn a lot about how to use his frame in the pro level.

Yea but it seems like toronto has more of them. And even when they win, there is somehow still negative headlines….like the detroit game, sure they won but it was a gong show. Washington game, yea they won, but blew another 3-1 lead. Like every game, win or lose, there’s something

Almost as if it’s a sport played on ice with a frozen piece of rubber. Bounces and shit happen, you just watch a lot more Toronto hockey so it seems like a problem for them alone. I just laid out a post just above this showing how every top team has had stinky L’s throughout the season

If they go out in the 1st round again, which I don’t want to happen. But if they do, the excuses will be the opposing goalie was amazing, our top guys got great advanced stats, the fans expected too much… same excuses from the past seasons. Would be nice if someone can just come up with new excuses for a change, lol.

Judging by the way you evaluate Engvall I suspect you might be wanting too much from a player just because they’re big and can skate. They’re good third liners and on a night like this a lot of guys higher up in the lineup no showed.
