I think he's been more concerned about getting walked by a superior leafs lineupIf he wants to be 3LD, Kleven will have to show more than he has so far tonight.
Let him get his timing and he'll get somebody on the tracks

Everyone is playing well it seems but these guys a little more so I’d say:
Jenik
Yakemchuk
Chabot
Halliday
Crooker
Agree his foot speed needs some work.It is early but I am noticing signs of fatigue in Halliday. I think like Green said about the 4 day mark of camp that some guys drop off. I see some things in Halliday both in this game and the intrasquad game that suggest to me that he needs some more physical maturing before being able to jump to the NHL in a full time role.
Also based on the intrasquad game and this game so far I think Crookshank is going to start falling down the depth chart.
Nice to see a system beyond working hard?Yeah defense has been nice to watch. I'm continually shocked not seeing the d pinching constantly to keep pucks in and getting caught
I’m wondering what kind of style or identity that Green wants for the 4th line. Does he want an energy line like some/many coaches do? Or, does he want something else? That will have a bearing on who makes the cut.It is early but I am noticing signs of fatigue in Halliday. I think like Green said about the 4 day mark of camp that some guys drop off. Please give me a Vermette-Kelly-Eaves style line.I’m wondering what kind of style or identity that Green wants for the 4th line. Does he want an energy line like some/many coaches do? Or, does he want something else? That will have a bearing on who makes the cut.
I don't think his wrist is 100% like he said.Second time chabots stick has gone flying out of his hands. Chabot also looks hurt
Then he shouldn’t be playing.I don't think his wrist is 100% like he said.
The F group on the Leafs goal did not look very good in our own zone.Honestly, I think our forward group will be fine no matter who makes the team. Our 3rd pairing though scares the shit out of me.
I don't think it'll ever be 100%.Then he shouldn’t be playing.
Eh. Most of them won't make the team. At least there are options. We don't really have many options for the 3rd pairing. The F group on the Leafs goal did not look very good in our own zone.
A player needs to be able to check to play in a bottom six role. They need to understand stick placement to take away passing and shooting lanes in the defensive zone and passing lanes in the offensive zone. If a player can't do that effectively then there isn't a role in the bottom six for them.I’m wondering what kind of style or identity that Green wants for the 4th line. Leevi is our 3rd best goaltender.Sogaard in mid season form already
