Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I think that's why the last one i listened to had 2 guests... just to keep it moving.
you need a lot of time to invest in a podcast.

Simmer is so good and such a man of the people, so funny with such good insight he can’t be replaced. Hoping he comes back. Show is still good and Jason York is probably the best analyst we have with Cheryl Pounder, but I miss Simmer he is unique for this market.
TSN1200 mornings and pre game still great despite not getting the love.

Wonder if Don Cherry said this how it would be dealt with? I know Arash looks the part of an intellect with the glasses and the fine suits so maybe it gets intellectualize and diluted in conversation by other people wearing expensive glasses and fine suits to something you could find in a level 4 University discussion, but wow, this comment is divisive and angry and dismissive and ugly. Not sure if he’s working for Sportsnet still, but a right jab to whatever this is meant to target by Arash.
This is kids playing hockey, he’s right to say we take it seriously, that he is right about, equating it to race feels like a dude saying damn the torpedoes

Well, he deleted his tweet, somebody got to him, you shouldn’t lose your job over doing something bitter like that but it is Just weird you’d watch a 19 year old hockey game and turn it to white privilege and then even weirder you replace the tweet with a Gord Miller quote and pretend it never happened.

Not a fan of Yorkie....he a bit of a boot licker and now his brother is in ownership its hard to know if his opinion on air is actually what he thinks. Simmer was awesome as the 3rd voice. Yorkie works in a 3 man system with differing opinions

Dislike Julian Mckenzie at the Athletic. Really feels like he took it hoping to get something better soon. He missed his spot on coming in hot too. Not sure why, haven't caught up on the last couple episodes. I use the athletic mainly for Sens, Mendes really I guess. Might cancel it.

Finding a charging station was a challenge!
But ive search à little and seems like there is charging stations at almost every On Route now!

Saddened today to hear of Shawn Simpson's passing. My condolences to the CIH team, his family, friends and everyone who knew him well. For those of us who have listened to Simmer over the years he felt like a friend, even though it was over the airwaves. I enjoyed listening to him and the unpredictable interactions he had with his co-hosts. A good guy who has left us way too soon!

Rick Westhead with really bad timing for a woke book about how horrible hockey is in Canada. Bad timing because he’s launching this at the 4 nations for max publicity - but Canada is going through a rare moment of super patriostism because of the tariffs and just not a good time to shit on an instaitusiton most Canadian like.
You could take any national instatiution - public school - and just rip it to shreds if your goal is to maximize the horror which is what woke journalism does. Just yesterday we had a local teacher admit to sleeping with students, racist teachers, sexist janitors, fundamentalist ideas - public school if you took all the headlines would seem broken and horrible. But it’s not.
I of course know hundreds of people who have played hockey at all levels and yes some had asshole coaches and were “hazed”. But the vast majority like 95% just played hockey and that was it. They played hockey for years and had good seasons and bad seasons and nothing bad happened beyond normal life.
Hockey Canada gave Westhead the shit show he needed to write a book - but I’m sure I could walk into TSN and find a history of horrible sexist, racist, elitist culture, just loom at the early season of on air TEAM1200 and how sexist that station for years.
Anyways, if you shit on institutions and just maximize their evilness it’s not good because you forget the good and great that they do. Rick Westhead just here to here to bring down hickey culture L, Westheads idea that everybting is broken and needs fixing by woke minds like Westhead is the real danger, reporting these crimes isn’t the problem, maximizing the problem to sell books and providing no backbone or solutions is the problem because Westhead has no answers, he just has a pen to point out the problems and act sad but these are just societal problems that happen in every business everyday everywhere.
