1st period... Normally I'd be pissed about an totally inept PP. They regularly lose the first draw thereby pissing away 30 seconds of near every PP. In this period that did not seem to happen much. Overall they seemed to control PP zone play pretty well. PP passing and puck movement was good. Problem as I see it is that too many shots are perimeter. They rely WAY too much on that stationary Norris one-timer that other teams know about and feed on. Teams just box them out. They need better net front presence too, a fewer guys standing off to one side or the other. Seems like very little screening going on to make the goalie's life miserable. Overall though, PP looked much improved. Ok, they didn't score on a lengthy 5-3 so that weakens my case. It's just my PP eye test read/feel.
