Pretty much the opposite of what we did in 2006.

At this point I'm hoping we play spoilers and knock the Rags out of a playoff spot. People want Kovy shut down for the season, but I want him in those two games.

And we have nothing to show for what happened in 2006 besides a nice win streak. Still fizzed out in the playoffs as usual.

If we went on a huge win streak, Lou would never change/improve this team. As stands, we suck terribly, and we might get an elite prospect out of this. Not to mention, change seems imminent.

Went to the game last night. Only cool thing was that I was in a suite again and saw all the legends that were going to be at the Rock today. Even had Gary Buttman, Lou, and Vanderbeek have a conversation about 10 ft from me. Oh there was a game? That ****ing sucked.

This is not true. It would be close but technically, we wouldn't control our own destiny because the Rangers could still win all their other games in regulation and edge us out based on the ROW tiebreaker.

EDIT: Was looking through the NHL rule-book and Anderson's jab at Henrique should've actually received a major and a game misconduct (goalies are ejected from the game for a game misconduct). It's considered butt-ending, not high-sticking. Don't think it would have mattered unless we could've scored a few before the other goalie got warmed up.

I'm really not mad that he wasn't ejected or given a major.. but having absolutely no repercussions is a tad ridiculous.

Why have a rule book in the front place if you don't want to enforce it?

The team should have run Anderson like Chico said. I'm not saying Lucic to Miller style, but they should have gotten in his face. I actually really liked the guy too, but **** that big eared bald headed goon. If I have to hear one more time about how he should win the Vezina (Despite missing more than half the season) I don't know what I'll do. Bobrovsky should win it before him even if his team misses the playoffs. If Anderson really wins out over my man Schneider I think I'll lose my mind.

I'm not sure I've ever seen an NHL team collapse out of a playoff spot like this.

Reminds me of the.....what was it, the 1969 Cubs team I think that's was so famous for completely imploding in the last month?

While we're at it Josefson shouldn't be sitting for my invisible Poni unless he's put in and sucks. He played a damn good game in Buffalo while Poni was scratched, and still hasn't been back in the lineup? Time to sit the invisible sputnik again because he's been pure trash during his second tenure with the Devils.

I also just now realized Matt Shaw is part of the Lemaire buddy system/Minnesota connection like Dave Barr was. Just great! That likely decreases his chances of not being back next season.
