Two exhilarating wins in a row. Both their own kind of roller coaster rides.

It needs a shot threat. Without a shot threat you have guys close to Stutzle and Norris with Sanderson being a non factor.

I feel like the uneven start to the season may be what this team needed.

We could see there was a good team in there but facing and overcoming adversity will hopefully make them stronger in the long run.

Yep, Matinpalo might be the best callup we've had this season and I don't see how JBD ever slots back in over him, much less Hamonic.

Leevi might have something to say about that, but yes on D or F he's been one of the best for sure. Ostapchuck has been solid and steady also.

Big difference in the Senators defensive play from the way they were playing in November. There’s still some lapses, but overall there’s more structure and good team D.

Matinpalo isn’t flashy but plays a quiet, steady game and has filled in nicely. Could be good to keep him around as the #6.

It’s nice that Forsberg got the Win. He had a good game.
