And no, I didn't expect them to come out flying, I expected a slow start, but that doesn't mean 17-2 in shots is acceptable. They barely did anything besides run around looking lost.

Good teams manage to show up regardless of the circumstances and at least put up a fight. Hopefully they can muster something up in the 2nd and make this a game.

JBD is not what we need. I would rather try Yak next season than watch the JBD/Hamonic 3 RD. Maybe Matinplano might develop enough by then to take over if Yak is not ready.

I agree with you here. Mixing the lines up too much is not going to magically give them legs.

Matinpalo has been great to the eye test. He’s basically jbd with size and physicality and hamonic with better skating and calmer puck moving. Allows Yakemchuk to play a little AHL

I thought we gave up a lot of quantity, but nothing that was crazy dangerous. They controlled the play in a big way, that much isn't debatable
