It's hard to argue with the effort so far. They're making the best of a bad situation and staying in the game. Could this or that be better? Of course. Am I content with a 2-1 deficit and just 28 shots against through two, given how the first period started? Yep. We'll see how the third goes but I won't hang my head on this one right now.

You never want to see a loss, but given the situation, the effort was there and Costanzo stood on his head, showing he's back to his old self. I'll take the little wins and run with them. Get the team back home, get them healthy this week, and get ready for Sarnia on Friday.

Not a bad effort, they basically played that game with 8 forwards and 5 defensemen. If everyone is healthy by Friday, I think it could be a rough game, for Sarnia that is.
