That’s the thing with korpisalo. Our team isn’t perfect. But he lets everything in.

Ghaaaa... you're making me recall that Redden vs. Chara decision. Not sure if it was true, but talk at the time was Chara was told he couldn't be paid more than Redden. I gather his reaction was along the lines of, "No problem, but I'm outta here!"

To be clear, I didn't mind either player. Nothing against Redden, but I if I could only keep one I would not have made the choice the Sens did at the time.

To me the Chabby/Chych decision will come down to which is easier to move. I could be wrong because some teams are desperate this time of year, but I doubt Chabby moves without retained salary.

It's not close one player has positive value ones got negative. Still doesn't mean they have to pick Chabot.
