I wonder what actually would happen if the Canadiens would end up blowing the 3-0 lead and losing the series.

lets cue the 'transition year' speech

Tonight is gonna be so lit. Mods better be ready.

This will be the first game I'm watching from home, next to my laptop, with phasers set on "Infract". If Habs can't score on the ice, I'll be a trigger-happy badass lighting 'em up online.

Game 4 was the first time our seating arrangement was messed up. We had some relatives come over without notice, and some people had to move from their winning seats. I'm looking for that to be rectified tonight.

I'm not superstitious at all.

If the Habs lose tonight and struggle offensively yet again, does Charles Hudon finally get a sniff or is MT too stupid to think of that?

He is a player I could see meshing VERY well with Eller.

Nothing. Lots of "transition year", "experience" talk, etc., even though it should lead to Therrien's firing.

That said, we're winning this one and ending the series. It's going to happen.

I highly doubt we see hudon unless the habs move on and go down 3-0 in another series....and even then

Yeah I don't think anything happens either. The last two teams to blow it did not fire their staff either. One team won the cup the following year, and the other team didn't even make the playoffs, so anything can happen.

With all the talk of our pathetic powerplay, I didn't realize our PK is only at 75%.

I guess part of that is down to OTT scoring 2 goals on Subban's 5 minute and the fact that they haven't had very many chances but still...needs to improve.

The old saying goes if your PP% + your PK% is over 100%, you're solid. We're...not quite there yet. With offense being at a premium more and more in this series, it could be special teams that decide things. In which case the Habs are in trouble if theirs don't get going.

The pk has been bad for a while. It was slipping before the playoffs even started. Even the opportunities that Ottawa hasn't scored on, they have looked dangerous.

Its one thing to have a poor PP and a very good pk (like most of the year), but you're asking for trouble when both go south.

Hopefully they can find a couple of goals tonight. In off season, Habs really need overhaul of that powerplay. A major part of our offense is MIA! In my 45 years following the club, can never recall it being this bad.

And to think, if our powerplay was just average, we wouldn't be playing this game tonight.

Habs win 5-1 and Therrien takes a timeout with 1 minute left and channels his inner MacLean and Cameron goes nuts and brawl ensues.

Will be watching the game with buddies, will miss great part of live GDT.. :(

Go Habs Go!
