Training camp opened today for the Fury, they are about a month behind the Florida teams, all of them have already played exhibition games, against European or South American teams, I'm down in the Tampa area and the Rowdies are hosting a number of MSL teams and have exhibition games against DCU United, Philadelphia Union and Montreal Impact.
I think all NASL teams should have the same starting time for pre-season.

There are rumors the league could have its spring season games on a Cbs Network according to the many rumors this would be a massive deal and it would bring the pay in Nasl to equal of Mls if not more if this does happen it would be a game changer.

So given the holes are being patched up, how does it look? Are we going to be worse than last year, then?

De Jong is a huge signing. This guy has 42 appearances with the Men's National Team and very recently started for Augsburg in the Bundesliga. Not sure why he tailed off so hard with Kansas but he'll be a menace in NASL I don't doubt.

The interesting thing is Ottawa could be the team Canada of Nasl with 2 major national members now and i am sure more will join.

I learned today the De Jong is only signed for the first half of the season, giving him the oportunity i assume to sign with a MLS or another team, if he has'nt got anything he would sign with the Fury for the rest of the season. Apparently he has been training with the Fury since the beginning of training camp.

Fury today beat Real Salt Lake Academy 4-0 with goals from Paulo, Chin (2) and Haworth.

Jim Watson just said on twitter that he will announce a major Canadian Soccer event later today. Might not involve the Fury but any announcement of anything related to soccer in Ottawa is great news.

Can't wait to hear what it is. Anybody know what it could be?

extra info: It has to do with the Women's National Team.
